The Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Program is a Small Business Administation (SBA) program designed to support innovation and technological advancement within small businesses. Established in 1982, the program encourages small businesses to engage in federal research and development (R&D) by providing funding and fostering commercialization of new technologies. The SBIR program is structured in three phases.  For information about the services the Amadeo Law Firm provides to SBIR and technology companies, please visit our Technology Development page.
